DESCRIPTION

7 Inch Smart Display (UART series) Features

  • +12V power supply input with 8V to 35V dynamic range power input, the power consumption is around 6 Watt.
  • Self-testing after booting function.
  • UART communication interface.
  • Supports UART protocol, default baud rate at 115200Kbps.
  • Built in 16M external flash memory to store the font and Object Dictionary Data.
  • Support capacitive touch panel (CTP).
  • Build in buzzer and can be controlled by Master Device.
  • Demo set HOST can be used on multiple platforms, such as Computer (with USB to  UART Dongle), MCU, Raspberry Pi (with PiCAN2). 9. GPIO PIN support with 3.3V TTL.


Software Features_GUI builder:

  • Real-Time Simulation: With the WINSTAR GUI Builder, you can directly simulate your design on a computer without the need to program it to the device first, simplifying adjustments and testing.
  • Convenient Design Process: No programming is required; you can create beautiful interfaces with simple drag-and-drop operations. Images and functions are linked, making it especially suitable for users unfamiliar with programming.
  • Rich Functionality and Widgets: Offers a variety of customizable widgets that integrate graphics and functions, easily handling both simple displays and complex functionalities.


Software Features_ST development tools:

Smart Display UART series is designed with STMicroelectronics' (ST) controller which supports ST development tools like TouchGFX and STM32CubeIDE. You can also use ST tools to design WINSTAR Smart Display modules besides GUI builder.

  • TouchGFX: An advanced free-of-charge graphic software framework optimized for STM32 microcontrollers.
  • STM32CubeIDE: An advanced C/C++ development platform with peripheral configuration, code generation, code compilation, and debug features for STM32 microcontrollers and microprocessors.
  • STM32CubeMX: A graphical tool that allows a very easy configuration of STM32 microcontrollers, as well as the generation of the corresponding initialization C code for the Arm® Cortex®-M core or a partial Linux® Device Tree for Arm® Cortex®-A core, through a step-by-step process.
  • STM32CubeProg: An all-in-one multi-OS software tool for programming STM32 products. It provides an easy-to-use and efficient environment for reading, writing and verifying device memory through both the debug interface (JTAG and SWD) and the bootloader interface (UART, USB DFU, I2C, SPI, and CAN).
